Work Preparation, is a course designed for customers on incapacity benefit, to prepare them for the local labour market. Dash Training staff work with customers on a one to one basis or in a group environment, covering all the aspects of job searching and helping people to overcome any problems faced. Jobsearching elements include: teamwork; communication; planning and time management; job leads; CV and Application Forms; letter writing; telephone & interview techniques; goal setting; and work ethics.

We will also assist with a work placement opportunity, to let the client gain valuable practical experience, which will hopefully lead to paid employment. There are two types of programmes, depending on the individual needs and local area:
